Characterization of a makeshift RF current probe
Johann WILHELM, DI Johann Wilhelm
Abstract
In a previous presentation, the author showed how to derive basic requirements for shop-made measurement equipment from standards using the example of an RF current probe.
This poster will further characterize the presented current probe in terms of numerical analysis and experimentation to investigate the limits of makeshift equipment for conducted disturbance measurements. Shortcomings introduced by the simple design and potential options for improvement are discussed and compared to each other.
