In October the Austrian nano (small-scale) satellite PRETTY will start to space.

On board: The SATDOS of our Expert Group Radiation Hardness/Space Weather, which is a reference dosimetry platform for nano satellites.

SATDOS was designed for measuring solar activity and space weather which have great influence on electronic components in satellites and also in our modern devices on Earth.
PRETTY was developed by the company Beyond Gravity Austria, the Technical University Graz and Seibersdorf Labor GmbH for ESA (European Space Agency). A main task of the satellite is climate monitoring.
