The WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) has announced, that Dr. Günter Gmeiner, Head of Doping Control Laboratory in Seibersdorf, will be member of a WADA Expert Group for 2013.

Each Expert Group is mandated to provide specialist advice and to make suggestions to WADA’s management on issues pertaining to its particular area.

Dr. Gmeiner will be part of the group “Prohibited List”. This group will revise the list of substances, which are prohibited in sports.

This invitation is a great honour for our expert and shows the high international reputation of the Austrian Doping Control Laboratory (operated by Seibersdorf Labor GmbH). It was established in 2002 and since then the experts from Seibersdorf were invited to international sport events several times and Dr. Gmeiner was Head of WAADS (World Association of Anti-Doping Scientists) from 2009-2011.
