On Friday, 22. November 2019, the traditional ceremony of the "Pro-Merito" awards took place at the Seibersdorf campus.

The “Pro Merito” award was established by Seibersdorf Labor GmbH together with its partners, the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of the Interior, Austrian Red Cross, Austrian Fire Brigades and Austrian Association for Radiation Protection. The award recognizes outstanding achievements in the field of radiation protection.

In 2019 there were 29 awards in bronze, silver or 2 gold, in addition one badge of honour in gold.
