The Seibersdorf Labor GmbH, EMC & Optics team was represented at WIMA 2013, together with the parent company AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Biomedical Systems business unit. WIMA 2013 is one of the world’s most important conferences on NFC (Near Field Communication).

With the contribution of "NFC-based ultraviolet assessment for sun burn prevention" our EMC & Optics team won the "Best Research Track" award, as well as the "Best in Show" award (winning photos).

In particular, our developed and patent-pending NFC Smart Smart Beverage Can and NFC Smart Beverage Bottle aroused great interest among the audience.

In addition to specific inquiries regarding the realization of Show Cases we were invited by the Active and Intelligent Packaging Industry Association (AIPIA) for this year's AIPIA World Congress to present the NFC Smart Beverage Can and NFC Smart Beverage Bottle there.
