Our scientific group Radiation Hardness Assurance and Space Weather (Dr. Peter Beck) was represented with scientific contributions and a conference booth at the RADECS in Bremen (19-23 September 2016).

RADECS is the most important European forum for the investigation of radiation effects. The name stands for RADiation Effects on Components and Systems. The RADECS conference was hosted in Germany for the first time.

The conference was organized by Airbus Defense and Space, OHB System AG and Fraunhofer INT. More than 400 experts from all over the world discussed the latest scientific findings on radiation effects.
