The anniversary of the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS) took place in Karlsruhe at the Institute of Technology (KIT) at the beginning of March.

The Seibersdorf Labor GmbH was represented at the event by five experts from our Dosimetry Laboratory (Head Dr. Stadtmann) and Radiation Hardness Assurance team (Head Dr. Beck).

More than 300 participants presented the latest research results in the field of dosimetry.

Within the framework of this event, the Participants-Meeting of the last Intercomparison for whole body dosimeters (IC2016) took place.

This international comparison test is by far the largest of its kind. It is coordinated for the third time by the experts of Seibersdorf Labor GmbH!

More than 70 representatives of international personal dosimeter evaluators presented the results of this comparison. Subsequently, the implementation of the new European directive on data protection was discussed in a separate session, especially from the perspective of the evaluators.
