At this year's EMC trade fair in Stuttgart (25-27 March 2025), our EMC & Photonics business unit presented its latest new development: the RefRad18!
This is a reference radiator (radio interference simulator) that operates in the 1 - 18 GHz frequency range.
There has long been a need for a device that works beyond 3 GHz to complement our tried and tested RefRad X.
The main use of this device will be for ongoing quality control in the EMC laboratory for emission measurements.
The RefRad 18 is expected to be commercially available from summer 2025.
The EMV trade fair in figures: more than 100 exhibiting companies, around 2,500 visitors. The event takes place alternately in Cologne and Stuttgart. For over 30 years, this international trade fair with its congress and practical workshops has been one of the leading meeting places for the EMC industry. The range of specialist areas includes measurement and testing technology, filter and filter components, lightning and surge protection, shielding and ESD protection measures.
