Electrical and electronic equipment must meet minimum requirements regarding the protection of persons from impermissibly high exposure to electromagnetic fields to be approved for use on the European internal market (CE marking). To demonstrate compliance with these minimum requirements, several of European standards exists, in which the relevant test requirements and applicable limit values are specified.
